●
Accept All Calls
Accept all MOCs, irrespective of the configured service option at the R&S
CMW.
●
Accept Only Selected Primary Service
Accept only MOCs requesting the service option currently selected at the
R&S
CMW.
●
Force to Selected Primary Service
R&S
CMW tries to negotiate MOC to the service option which is selected at the
R&S
CMW. If service negotiation is not successful, the MOC fails.
●
Accept No Calls – Intercept…
Do not accept any MOCs but communicate an intercept condition when the MS
attempts a call. The intercept condition can be communicated via an
AWIM (Alert
With Information Message)
,
FWIM (Flash With Information Message)
, or an
Order
message.
●
Accept No Calls – Reorder
Do not accept any MOCs but communicate a reorder condition when the MS
attempts a call. The reorder condition can be communicated via an
AWIM
,
FWIM
,
or an
Order
message.
●
Accept No Calls – Busy
Do not accept any MOCs but communicate a busy condition when the mobile
attempts a call. The busy condition can be communicated via an
AWIM
or an
FWIM
, but not with an
Order
message.
●
Accept No Calls – Ignore MS
Do not accept any MOCs; discard the MS Origination Message (ORM). This pro-
vides a simple way to simulate extreme loading or fading conditions which prohibit
the BS from delivering a response to an MS ORM. The setting causes the MS to
time out.
Properties of call conditions - the different call conditions have the following meaning
and consequences:
●
Intercept
An intercept condition informs the user of a procedural error made in placing the
call. The MS plays an intercept tone, consisting of alternating 440 Hz and 620 Hz
tones, each for 250 ms.
●
Reorder
A reorder condition informs the user that all facilities are in use (network conges-
tion) and the call should be placed again. The MS plays a reorder tone, consisting
of a 480 Hz tone added to a 620 Hz tone, repeated in a 250 ms on, 250 ms off
cycle. A busy condition communicated via an
Order
message causes the MS to
enter the Mobile Station Idle state.
●
Busy
A busy condition informs the user that the called party is busy. The MS plays a
busy tone, consisting of a 480 Hz tone added to a 620 Hz tone, repeated in a 500
ms on, 500 ms off cycle.
The R&S
CMW sends Order Messages while it is in the registered signaling state.
AWIMs
and
FWIMs
are only sent in the connected signaling state.
