DOCK HEIGHT SENSON ADJUSTMENT
1. Engage the safety devices as described in the
following Danger.
2. Turn off power and lockout/tagout the control box.
3. See Figure 13. Loosen jam nuts on the actuator rod
to adjust the actuator block. Lowering the actuator
block allows the unit to rise higher. Raising the
actuator block reduces the height that the unit can
rise.
4. Carefully cut the shipping tape holding the selector
valve chain to the hydraulic hoses. The bent S-hook
(lower left) end of the selector valve chain must be
connecteded to the actuator rod. Remove the lower
jam nut and spacer from the actuator rod, slide the
S-hook onto the threaded actuator rod and reinstall
the spacer and jam nut. Fully tighten the jam nut.
5. The floating ring and S-hook located on the selector
valve chain must be attached to the anchor loop
located underneath the main pivot cross member.
See Figure 14, Detail 14B.
6. The pull ring (top) end of the chain must be pulled
upwards to the quick disconnect cup. Make sure that
the selector valve chain is routed behind the cross
tube. See Figure 14, Detail 14A. The pull ring stores
around the quick disconnect with the plastic wire tie
pointing upwards into the cup. See Figure 14, Detail
14A. DO NOT cut the wire tie, this will be used to
access the pull ring.
7. Disengage the following safety devices.
a. Push in the selector valve,
b. Turn on power,
c. Disengage the support latch by returning the
platform to dock height by pressing and holding
the Lift UP and MANUAL/RESET buttons. The
support latch will automatically disengage.
8. The actuator block has been correctly adjusted
when E0202 LED(light emitting diode) on the PLC is
illuminated, the platform is at dock height, and the
rear pins engage and disengage smoothly. (Pivot
blocks may not be installed yet!)
9. Run unit down to driveway level and back to dock
level. Check that platform stops automatically at
dock level.
10. If the platform does not stop at dock level, repeat
steps 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, and 9 until the desired platform
height is reached.
