SAFETY DEVICES CONTINUED

TO ENGAGE SELECTOR VALVE

1. Pull the selector valve out to prevent scissors

movement. The activation chain is connected to the
selector valve plunger.

The lip is extremely heavy. RITE-HITE

®

does not

recommend that one person attempt to lift the
lip alone.

To engage the lip support, press the MANUAL/
RESET button along with the LIP OUT button to
extend the lip. Pull out the lip support bar as
shown below. Turn off power and lockout/
tagout.

To disengage the lip support, turn on the power,
press the MANUAL/RESET button along with
the LIP OUT button to re-extend the lip, push in
the lip support bar, and press any button to
release the lip.

TO ENGAGE LIP SUPPORT

1. If necessary, the lip can be supported by pulling out

the lip support bar.
