GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING CONTINUED
Problem Probable Cause Solution
1. Unit will not operate. a. No power to system. a. See General Power Problems
b. Float switch was tripped. b. Check pit for liquid or debris and remove.
Replace float switch if damaged.
c. Selector valve pulled. c. Check selector valve position located on
front scissor cross member. Should be
pushed in for normal operation.
d. Support latch is engaged. d. Disengaged support latch.
e. Overhead door interconnect. e. Open overhead door.
Check overhead door interconnect limit
switch and wires.
If overhead door interconnect limit switch is
not used, verify that a jumper wire is across
(+24VDC) and (E6500).
If overhead door interconnect limit switch is
used, verify that limit switch wires are
connected to terminals (+24VDC) and
(E6500).
f. Outside light selector switch is f. Verify that outside light selector switch
turned to outside GREEN. is turned to outside RED.
Verify that outside light selector switch
(E6206) is wired and operating properly.
g. No power to PLC. g. Check 110 VAC secondary fuse (10FU1)
on lower terminal block assembly.
Check power across 24 VDC terminals of
regulated power supply and terminals
+24VDC & 24COM of PLC for 24 VDC. (If
power is present and there are no I/O
indicator lights illuminated, replace PLC.)
Check power cable between control box
and junction box for damage.
h. Hydraulic system. h. See General Hydraulic Problems.
2. Unit functions slowly a. Improper maintenance. a. Do all required maintenance, see
Maintenance Procedures section.
b. Electrical system. b. Check voltage across 1L1, 1L2 & 1L3.
Check voltage across T1, T2 & T3.
Check 24 VAC voltage to motor contactor
coil.
Check all valve coils on manifold and wiring
terminated at junction box.
Check all limit switch inputs using the
function keys of the message center.
Compare limit switch states to State Chart.
