INSTALLATION AND LEVELING
See Figure 7 for a general side and top view of the
DUAL-DOK system.
1. Remove the wire bundles from the unit and route as
shown, prior to setting unit in the pit. See Figure 8.
2. Route lifting chains and hook unit as shown in
Figure 8.
3. Use the lifting unit to place the DUAL-DOK unit into
the pit.
4. Once the unit is properly centered and positioned in
the pit, remove the shipping bands.

• Before starting installation or maintenance,
check and follow the safety procedures of the
facility where the DUAL-DOK
® is being
installed.
• Barricade and post warning signs around
DUAL-DOK ® work areas, at ground level and
dock level, to prevent unauthorized entry or
use.
