Mono-color printing
The master making and print processes for a scanned
original are performed with either of the print drums
(cylinders).

Check that the power switch of
this machine is on.
Press the [
X
] side of the power switch.

In the [HOME] screen, touch the
button ([
k
] / [
l
]) of the print drum
(cylinder) that you will use.

To print more copies, enter the num-
ber of copies and press the [START]
key.

To start master making for the next
original, repeat the procedure from
step 4.

When you place originals on the
optional auto document feeder and
the [ADF Semi-Auto] setting (

is turned on, master making for the
next original starts automatically.
Repeat the procedure from step 14
for each original.

To cancel the authentication status,
press the [WAKE-UP] key.
The authentication status is also
cancelled when the time that is set
in [Auto Sleep] (

143) or [Auto
Clear] (

141) elapses.

When using print drum (cylinder) 2 for
mono-color printing, you need to load a
blank master on print drum (cylinder) 1
or remove print drum (cylinder) 1.
