Managing messages – Saving and recalling search terms

Note
When you enter text in the
Subject:
or
Message:
field, the
Search Messages
function will search for phrases containing
these characters in the subject line and the body of your
messages.
You can search for a name stored in your Address Book
while in the
Search Messages
function. With your cursor in
the
Name:
field, click the trackwheel to view the menu. Scroll
to and click
Select Name
. The
Address Book
screen
appears where you can select the name to search for. Click
the trackwheel to view the menu. Scroll to and click
Use
Address
. You return to the
Search Messages
screen with
your selected name in the
Name:
field.
Saving and recalling search terms
You can save the terms of your search and recall them the next time
you want to perform a similar search.
1.
Outline the terms of your search by setting the options in the
fields of the
Search Messages
screen.
2.
Click the trackwheel to view the screen’s menu. Scroll to and
click
Save Search
. The terms of your search will be saved.
