Security
If you have enabled the password feature in the
Security
screen,
you will have to enter it to access the pager after the password
security screen appears. You will also need the password to re-
access the
Security
screen. See page 31 for information on how to
set your password.
Password:
Choose whether or not you want to enable a
password on the pager. The default is
Disabled
Security Timeout:
Set the duration of time (in minutes) that
the pager is idle before the password security screen appears. The
default setting is
2 min
.
Status
The
Status
screen provides information about the pager and the
network over which it operates. You cannot change the information
that is displayed.
Signal:
Indicates the strength of the pager’s signal over the
wireless network
Battery:
Indicates the percentage of the remaining battery life
Memory Free:
Indicates the amount, in bytes, of available RAM
on the pager.
File Free:
Indicates the amount, in bytes, of available flash file
storage space that can be used to store messages, address entries,
and AutoText entries.
