Software License Agreement
Terms and Conditions
This is a legal agreement between you, the Customer ("You"), and Research
In Motion Limited ("RIM"). BY INSTALLING, USING OR MAKING ONE
OR MORE COPIES OF THIS SOFTWARE (OR ANY COMBINATION OF
THE FOREGOING), YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE
TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS
OF THIS AGREEMENT, PROMPTLY RETURN THE SOFTWARE AND
THE ACCOMPANYING ITEMS (INCLUDING WRITTEN MATERIALS
AND BINDERS OR OTHER CONTAINERS) TO RIM.
1. DEFINITIONS.
1.1 "SOFTWARE" means the RIM
Software Product(s) provided under
this license to You in conjunction
with the RIM
Inter@ctive
Pager 850
Pager Product (the "Product"),
regardless of whether the
SOFTWARE is the RIM
Inter@ctive
Pager 850
Desktop Software or
software residing on the Product.
The term SOFTWARE includes all
related software, regardless of the
form in which it is provided to You or
the form in which You may
subsequently use it, and includes all
documentation and other written
materials related to the SOFTWARE
and the Product.
2. GRANT OF LICENSE.
2.1 This RIM Software License
Agreement ("LICENSE") hereby
grants You a non-exclusive, non-
transferable right to use the
SOFTWARE in conjunction with
the Product. This does not imply
any rights to future upgrades of
the SOFTWARE.
3. COPYRIGHT.
3.1 The SOFTWARE is owned by
RIM and is protected by
Canadian, US and international
copyright laws. You must,
therefore, treat the SOFTWARE
like any other copyrighted
material.
3.2 You may not print, copy,
reproduce, distribute, modify or
in any other manner duplicate
