AutoText
The
AutoText
screen contains a list of all current AutoText entries.
You can add, edit, and delete entries as you wish. See page 48 for
information on how to change AutoText entries.
Date/Time
Set the date and time so that your messages contain the correct time
stamp.
Note
You can also automatically set the date and time by
synchronizing your pager with your PC. See the RIM

Time Zone:
Select your time zone. The pager will automatically
adjust the time depending on the time zone. The default is the
Eastern (-5)
time zone.
Daylight Savings:
Select whether or not you want daylight
savings to be adjusted automatically. By default, the pager is set to
adjust for daylight savings (
Support
). The setting only needs to be
set once. It should only be set to
Ignore
if you live in a state or
province that does not recognize daylight savings. When this
setting is set to
Support
, the pager will automatically adjust the
time on the proper date.
Time:
Set the current time.
Format:
Select a 12 hour or 24 hour clock (the default is
12 HR
).
Date:
Set the current date.
