In the
Security Timeout:
field, set how much idle time
should pass before the password security screen will appear.
Click to view the menu, select
Change Option
, and set the
amount of idle time in the dialog box which appears. Click the
trackwheel once you have set this field to your preference.

Click the trackwheel to view the menu. Scroll to and click
Save
Options
.
You return to the
Device Options
screen.
Note
Once you have set a password, you need to enter it to
access the
Security
screen again. In addition, if you power
off the pager with the password security screen still enabled,
you will need to enter the password once you power on the
pager again.
Once the password is set, you can also access the
LOCK
icon
on the functions list in the
Home
screen. See page 35 for
information on the Lock function.
