Installation Guide

Step 1

Before removing the old release: backup an old database and keep it.

•

On the toolbar there will be a small Three Penguin Icon. Right click this icon and select

Launch Scalar DLC DB Tool and log on (see

Figure 57

). If the Scalar DLC database has been

installed under Trusted connection, only the local admin rights are required. If the Scalar DLC
database has been installed under user account, either the SQL administrator logon name/
password, or the Scalar DLC SQL user name/password are required.
