Metadata Modules

DXi8500 Metadata modules contain seventeen SAS hard drives, and

every module supports RAID 1 with one hot spare per tray. Hard drives

are supplied in hot-swappable drive carriers that fit in the hard-drive

bays. The seventeen 146GB hard drives, which are located on the front
