menu to begin a wizard. After you

complete a wizard, a green check mark displays next to its name on the

Wizards

menu. To display the main menu again, click

Exit

NAS Wizard

The

NAS

wizard provides guided assistance for configuring the DXi8500

as a NAS (Network Attached Storage) appliance. The wizard helps you

determine if the NAS shares will be used on a Windows or UNIX/Linux

network, and if necessary helps you join the DXi8500 to a Windows

domain. Then the wizard guides you through the process of adding one

or more NAS shares to receive backup data.
