The browser interface is similar to the VT-100 interface, except that the menu choices are listed in the column on the
left-hand side of the screen. The browser’s
Configuration heading replaces the VT-100’s System Admin menu.
Differences between the Web Interface and the VT-100 Interface
The following features can only be accessed from the VT-100 interface:
1. Access to remote IDU (console port only)
2. Accessing the interface when no IP address has been configured (console port only)
3. Changing the settings for the console port
4. Terminating user sessions (web browser only)
Note that when using the VT-100 interface, selectable fields can be changed by using the spacebar to cycle through
the available settings. On the HTML interface, a drop-down menu is provided.
Also note that when using the VT-100 interface, choose [^Apply] to save settings and then [^OK] to return to the
previous screen. On the HTML interface, simply click Apply to save changes.
Accessing a Remote Stratum From a Local Stratum
(Through the Wireless Link)
When connected to a Stratum’s VT-100 interface, you can access the interface of the remote unit if the wireless link
is up and operational.
Note that you can only access a remote Stratum via the console port. You cannot access a remote unit via Telnet or
the Web browser interface.
When connected to the local Stratum via the console port, choose [Remote] from the local IDU’s main menu to
login to the remote Stratum.
The login screen for the remote unit will appear. If the login screen does not appear, press ^R to refresh the screen.

Navigate through the VT-100 interface as described in Navigating in the VT-100 User Interface .
If the connection attempt fails, you may find that you are no longer able to access the local Stratum. In this case,
close the remote session by holding down the
Ctrl key and pressing the ] key.
