Installing and Mounting the ODU-B-EXT

The ODU-B-EXT includes an N-Connector for use with an external parabolic antenna, as shown in Figure 7 below.

The mounting procedure for the ODU-B-EXT is identical to the mounting procedure for a standard ODU except
polarization is established by the rotation of the antenna feed horn, not by the position of the ODU. Check
instructions packed with the parabolic antenna for polarization setting.

LMR-600 type cable is recommended for connecting the ODU-B-EXT to a parabolic antenna in order to minimize
cable insertion loss.
