5-41. Power Supply PCBA (Figure 5-37)

a. Removal

-

WARNING

-

High electrical potentials may be present at power supply even with power

disconnected. Exercise care; severe injury or death is possible.

ă1. Perform steps 1 through 5 of paragraph 5-40a.
ă2. Disconnect connectors (1), connector (2) and terminals (3) from PCBA (4). Verify tags

are present and legible; relabel if necessary.

ă3. Remove two screws (5) and terminal lug (6).
ă4. Separate power supply PCBA (4) from power supply assembly (7).

b. Installation

ă1. Place power supply PCBA (4) in power supply assembly (7).
ă2. Install two screws (5) and terminal lug (6).
ă3. Connect connectors (1), connector (2), and terminals (3) to PCBA (4) according to labels.
ă4. Perform steps 2 through 5 of paragraph 5-40b.

5-42. Power Supply (Figure 5-38)

a. Removal

ă1. Loosen two fasteners (1) and allow rear door (2) to swing open.
ă2. Swing out card cage (3).
ă3. Disconnect cables (4) from power supply PCBA (5).
ă4. Tag and remove leads (6) from AC line filter (7).
ă5. Remove two screws (8) and star washers (9).
ă6. At capacitor C1 (10), identify and disconnect all wires which leave the power supply asĆ

sembly (11).

ă7. Loosen two nuts (12) and slide transformer cover (13) up out of the way.
ă8. Remove screw (14) and terminal lug (15) at T1-1.
ă9. Remove screw (16) and terminal lug (17) at T1-7.
10. Carefully remove power supply assembly (11) from printer base (18).
