c. Antirotation Arm, P6040 Only (Figure 3-6)

ă1. Remove power cord (1). Open cover (2). Put ribbon drive to service position per paraĆ

graph 3-4c4.

ă2. Remove two screws (3).
ă3. Move antirotation arm (4) upward until tip clears spring (5). Rotate arm (4) forward and

remove from printer.

ă4. Wipe flat surfaces of antirotation arm (4) that fit behind spring (5). Apply a light coating

of medium bearing grease.

ă5. Put antirotation arm (4) into position behind spring (5).
ă6. Install two screws (3). Torque to 12 in-lbs.
ă7. Put ribbon drive to normal position per paragraph 3-4c9. Close cover (2). Connect power

cord (1).
