Help

Information

Use this function to display details about the currently selected input signal or the lamp usage time.

Select “Information” to display the information window. Use the SELECT 

 button to select the page.

“Remaining Lamp Time” and “Lamp Hour Meter” displays

This projector is equipped with an economy mode. The lamp service life differs in the normal and economy modes.
The total time the lamp has been used is displayed at “Lamp Hour Meter”. The percentage of time remaining with respect to the
time the lamp has been used is displayed at “Remaining Lamp Time”.

• When “Remaining Lamp Time” reaches 0%, the message “It is time to replace the lamp. Replace the lamp as soon as possible,

following the instructions in the manual.” appears. (The message remains displayed as long as an image is projected.)
Replace the lamp with a new one. For instructions on replacing the lamp, see “Replacing the Lamp Cartridge” on page E-75.

• Once the end of the lamp’s service life is reached (when “Remaining Lamp Time” reaches 0%), the “Remaining Lamp Time”

display switches to a red time display. If the lamp is used another 100 hours, the power will no longer turn on, regardless of the
lamp mode setting.
