Receiving a package
NOTE:
This feature may not be available in all markets. For further advice please contact your local Pitney
Bowes office.
1. Select the
Receive a Package
button on the Receiving tile on the Home screen.
2. If you have a scanner, scan the carrier’s barcode. The system extracts all the information
possible from the barcode.
If you do not have a scanner, enter the tracking number in the Tracking number field.
3. If the carrier does not appear in the Carrier field, select the field and choose the carrier from the
list of carriers.
If the carrier is not listed, select
Other
, and enter the carrier's name in the Comments field.
4. If the recipient and sender names do not appear in the fields, select each field and choose the
names from the list.
a. If a name does not appear in the list, enter the name and select enter.
b. Enter the information in the Add Contact dialog screen.
c. Select
Save
when done.
5. If the package is damaged, select the
Arrived damaged
check box.
6. Click
Comments
to enter additional information. If you selected "Other" in the carrier field, enter
the carrier's name here.
7. Click
Save
.
