Setting up a FedEx account

In order to use the FedEx carrier for shipping labels, you need to set up your FedEx account using
SendPro Online or PitneyShip. You cannot set up a FedEx account on your meter. In your web
browser, go to

https://login.pitneybowes.com/sendpro

user ID and password, then follow the instructions in

Measuring your shipment dimensions in SendPro

When you create a shipping label you select the type of envelope or package for your shipment using
the

Enter Packaging Details

screen. Refer to How to Creating a shipping label in SendPro for more

information.

Each carrier provides a list of carrier-specific packages (box, envelope, mailing tube, or un-
packaged) from which you can choose. For detailed information on size and weight restrictions,
position the cursor over the package.

l

You can also choose to use your own envelopes or boxes in which case you are prompted to
select the package type (box, envelope, or irregular packaging) and enter the dimensions and
the weight. Refer to

Adding a shipment memo in SendPro

Once you enter all the information required to create your USPS, UPS or FedEx shipping label
(recipient address, packaging information, carrier services - refer to How to create a shipping label in
SendPro) you can enter up to a 40 character note in the

Memo

field within the

Label Options

screen.

This note will print on the shipping label and also will appear in the History file for the shipping label.
Refer to How to print a shipping label in SendPro for more information.

Weighing your shipment with a scale in SendPro

When you create a shipping label you select the type of envelope or package for your shipment using
the

screen.

Depending on the carrier you may be prompted to enter the weight of your shipment.
