(6) Turn the scanner over, draw up the Base Unit Cover, and then pull eight connectors out of the holes of the Base Unit

Cover.

(7) - Open the Upper Unit.

- Insert a flat-blade screwdriver into the gap (circle below) of the fulcrum pin at the Operator panel side on the Upper

Unit.

- Tilt the flat-blade screwdriver inward to unlatch the fulcrum pin, and then separate the Upper Unit and Base Unit.
