9. RX (n) bit E: Completion of transmission frame check
At the completion of transmission frame check, this bit will be turned on (will be set to ‘1’).
If RY (n) bit E (transmission frame check request) is turned off (set to ‘0’), this signal will be turned off (will be
set to ‘0’).
10. RX (n) bit F: BUSY
At power-on or during system setting operation, the system is not ready for transmission. In this case, this bit
will be turned on (will be set to ‘1’).
Note: In the
S-LINK V
User’s Manual, this signal is referred to as the ‘READY output.’
11. RX (n+1) bit 0 to 8: Number of nodes bit 0 to 8
●
If RX (n+2) bit 0 (completion of connection information change) is turned off (set to ‘0’)
This signal indicates the number of nodes (
S-LINK V
I/O units) recognized by the
SL-VGU1-C
.
Numbers 0000 to 0100H (0 to 256) can be input.
●
If RX (n+2) bit 0 (completion of connection information change) is turned on (set to ‘1’)
This signal indicates the number of nodes (
S-LINK V
I/O units) connected to the
S-LINK V
system, those
error 3, 4, or 5 is detected.
Numbers 0000 to 0100H (0 to 256) can be input.
Note: If only 1 station (I/O points: 64 points or less each) is used, this signal (number of nodes) will not be assigned to the RX (n+1). In this
case, the completion of initial data setting, error status, remote READY status signals will be assigned to the RX (n+1).
12. RX (n+2) bit 0: Completion of connection information change
If RY (n+2) bit 0 (connection information change request) is turned on (set to ‘1’), this bit will be turned on
(will be set to ‘1’), and if RY (n+2) bit 0 (connection information change request) is turned off (set to ‘0’), this
bit will be turned off (will be set to ‘0’).
Check whether the data of RY (n+2) bit 0 (connection information change request) corresponds with the data
of RX (n+2) bit 0 (completion of connection information change,) and then read out RX (n+1) bit 0 to 8 (num-
ber of nodes bit 0 to 8), RX (n+3) (address information A), or RX (n+4) (address information B) to prevent an
error in reading information.
13. RX (n+2) bit 8 to B: Completion of address information change bit 0 to 3
The same data as RY (n+2) bit 8 to B (address information change request bit 0 to 3) will be stored.
Check whether the data of RY (n+2) bit 8 to B (address information change request bit 0 to 3) corresponds
with the data of RX (n+2) bit 8 to B (completion of address information change bit 0 to 3), and then read out
RX (n+3) (address information A), or RX (n+4) (address information B) to prevent an error in reading infor-
mation.
