17. RY (n+2) bit 0: Connection information change request
Use the connection information change request to change the data that will be stored in RX (n+1) bit 0 to 8
(number of nodes bit 0 to 8), RX (n+3) (address information A), or RX (n+4) (address information B).
●
If RY (n+2) bit 0 (connection information change request) is turned off (set to ‘0’)
Number of nodes (
S-LINK V
I/O units) recognized by the
SL-VGU1-C
will be stored in RX (n+1) bit 0 to
(number of nodes bit 0 to 8), and the address information will be stored in RX (n+3) (address information
A), or RX (n+4) (address information B).
●
If RY (n+2) bit 0 (connection information change request) is turned on (set to ‘1’)
Number of nodes (
S-LINK V
I/O units) connected to the
S-LINK V
system, those error 3, 4, or 5 is de-
tected will be stored in RX (n+1) bit 0 to 8 (number of nodes bit 0 to 8), and the address information will be
stored in RX (n+3) (address information A), or RX (n+4) (address information B).
18. RY (n+2) bit 8 to B: Address information change request bit 0 to 3
●
Address that corresponds to the data stored in RY (n
+
2) bit 8 to B (address information change request
bit 0 to 3) will be stored in RX (n+3) (address information A), or RX (n+4) (address information B).
Bit corresponds to the address will be turned on (set to ‘1’).
Example: If number of I/O control points = 512, inputs = 0 to 127, outputs = 128 to 255, inputs = 256 to 383
outputs = 384 to 511

Notes: 1) If only 1 station (I/O points: 64 points or less each) is used for buffer memory assignment pattern 2, the number of nodes signal
will not be assigned to the RX (n+1). In this case, the completion of initial data setting, error status, remote READY status signals
will be assigned to the RX (n+1).
2) The addresses of ‘IN 0 to 255’ and ‘OUT 0 to 255’ shown above differ from these addresses on the
S-LINK V
system side.
(However, in the all-point input status or all-point output status, the above addresses will be equal to the
S-LINK V
addresses.)
