Starting

Check before Starting System

Be sure to check the following items before starting the

S-LINK V

system or before turning on the power:

•

Wiring conditions of the controller

•

Shorted cables

SL-VGU1-D wiring condition check

Visually check the terminals of the

SL-VGU1-D

and the connected cable (terminals to which the cable is con-

nected).

Power-on (Main Power and Local Power)

● To use both the main power and the local power, be sure to turn on the local power first or turn on

both powers at the same time.

● To turn on the power for the first time after system installation, set the mode selection switch to

‘CONFIG,’ and then turn on the power.

CAUTION

At the completion of check before starting the system, turn on the power.

The

S-LINK V

 system will be activated.

CONFIG Mode

In the CONFIG mode, the displayed items depend on the CONFIG mode selection timing.

If the system is switched to the CONFIG mode before power-on:

Each item can be set.

If the system is switched to the CONFIG mode after power-on:

Difference from the above-described case (CONFIG mode selection before power-on) is the following three

points:

•

The default items will not be displayed.

•

The preset items will not be displayed.

•

The set value of each item is displayed, but changing the set value will not be possible.

For a detailed description of various settings for CONFIG mode and the set modes, refer to page 81 and fol-

lowing pages.
