Service Manual – Osmetech OPTI™ Analyzer

IR Test 

The IR Loopback test is included to test the IR interface function.  To perform 
the test first select the IR test. Test results will be displayed indicating either 
PASS or FAIL. 

 

Fan Test 

The FAN test allows the cooling fan to be turned ON and OFF using the analyzer 
keypad.  Turn the FAN ON and check for proper airflow at the fan vents on the 
rear of the analyzer.   

Note:  The fan may only run for a short time.  The software background task is 
still active in this menu, turning the fan off if the internal temperature is low. 

 

 

Fset 

The Fset menu contains factory-set values stored in the EEPROM.
