Installation
To reinstall the assembly, follow the removal instructions in reverse order.
Before tightening the mounting screws, make sure to center the display over the
window.
Verification
To test the display go to
DIAG3 – Disp
and press
ENTER
. Check if all dots are
dark. If dots remain blank, the display assembly must be replaced.
Keypad
Removal
The keypad fitted on the Osmetech OPTI CCA can be removed by first opening
the lower portion of the analyzer. The flex cable from the keypad will now need
to be disconnected from the display board. Use a knife to lift off the keypad
from the analyzer housing.
Installation
Before replacement with a new keypad, the surface must be cleaned.
Use alcohol to remove any adhesive which may be on the surface. The surface
must be clean and dry before installing a new keypad. Take the new replacement
keypad and remove the backing to expose the adhesive side of the keypad.
Connect the keypad cable to the display board. Feed the cable through the grey
slot in the analyzer housing. Carefully apply the new keypad to ensure proper
alignment on the analyzer housing.
Caution: The keypad is attached to the housing of the analyzer with an adhesive
backing and can not be re-used once removed from the analyzer.
Verification
To test the keypad go to
DIAG3 – Keypad
and press
ENTER
. Check if all the
buttons result in the correct response. The keypad must be replaced in case of any
malfunction or sluggish response.
