7.2.5 DMZ
Configuration
The
DMZ
(De-Militarized Zone)
Configuration
page allows you to map a local computer to this
zone. The DMZ is added between a protected network and an external network. When there
is a suspected packet coming from the WAN, the firewall will forward this packet to the DMZ
host.
Follow the steps below to access and configure the
DMZ Configuration
page.
Step 1:
To access
DMZ Config
, click the
Advanced
link located at the top right-hand side of
the page.
Step 2:
Click
DMZ Config
on the left menu. The
DMZ Config
page appears:
Step 3:
Select to
Enabled
or
Disabled
the DMZ. The default is set to
Disabled
.
Step 4:
Populate the
DMZ Host IP
field with the IP address of the DMZ host.
Step 5:
Click the
Apply
button to apply the settings made.
Step 6:
Click the
Reset
button to refresh the page. Re-enter the fields as required.
Step 7:
Click the
Save Settings
link to save the changes made.
