9.3.7 Call
Waiting
If someone calls you while you are speaking on the telephone, the OPEN 812L VoIP ATA
router indicates this by playing a Call Waiting Tone. You can answer this call by pressing the
flash/recall button or perform a hook flash.
How to use:
Step 1:
If the OPEN 812L VoIP ATA router is configured to use
Call Waiting
, press
*70
(optionally followed by #) on the telephone dial-pad to disable
Call Waiting
for the
duration of the following call.
Step 2:
You will hear a confirmed tone followed by the dial tone. If you hang up with or
without making the call, the ATA will enable the Call-Waiting tone again.
Step 3:
If the OPEN 812L VoIP ATA router is not configured to use Call Waiting, pressing
*70
results in fast-busy tone.
When the sequence of digits *70 is entered, the sequence could match the Call-
Waiting rule or the Default Number Call rule. To execute the command immediately,
press #. Otherwise, the action will execute after 4 seconds.
