7.1.4 FXO
Configuration
The
FXO Configuration
is used to configure the system level FXO parameters. FXO stands for
Foreign Exchange Office.
Follow the steps to guide you through
FXO Configuration
.
Step 1:
To
access
FXO Exchange
, click the
Advanced
link located at the top right-hand side
of the page.
Step 2:
Click the
FXO Exchange
link located on the left menu. The following page appears:

definitions of each field.
The following table describes the settings for the
FXO Exchange
window and their definitions:
Field Name
Description
CID Enable
CID stands for Caller ID. This parameter is used to enable
or disable the PSTN Caller ID display.
Tone Detection Wait Timer
(secs)
This field determines the length of time in seconds that the
device will wait for the PSTN dial tone to be detected after
you have pressed the Hook Flash/recall button.
In case the dial tone is not detected or there is a timeout, a
fast busy tone will be heard.
