6.1.6 System
Log
System Log
is used to view the status of all the events that were triggered by the system. It
contains information that is dynamic and refreshes every 5 seconds.
Follow the steps to access
System Log
.
Step 1:
To
access
System Log
, click the
Basic
link located at the top-right hand side of the
page.
Step 2:
Click
the
System Log
link located on the left menu. The following page appears:
The following table provides a brief description of the functions on the
System Log
screen.
Label Name
Description
Log Message
Displays log messages or events that have been triggered
by the system. Select from any one of the 3 separate
views: All, Event or Warning to view the logged messages.
The logged messages appear in this order:
Month/Day/Year,
Time in Hrs:Mins:Seconds
Event description
Clear log
This function allows you to clear the current recorded
contents in the
System Log
to refresh the log messages.
Refresh
Allows you to refresh the log messages.
Click Here Link
Allows you to save the current contents of the logged
messages into a text file onto your local drive. Click on the
link and select “Save Target As” to save it to a text file.
