Installation as tower

3.4.1

Mechanical installation

NOTE

On delivery the internal battery packs are not connected.

CAUTION

The housing is heavy (see

Technical Data

). At least two

persons are required for moving the UPS system or the
battery module.

1. Place the UPS system on a level, stable surface at its final

position (see Figure 4)

2. If you are installing additional battery modules, position these

to the right next to the UPS system at its final position.

3. For installation without battery modules, mount the housing

brackets for the XANTO S 6000 (see Figure 4).

4. Remove the front cover of the UPS system. To remove the

front cover, unscrew the two screws on the upper side. Slide
the front cover up and remove it from the housing.
