Switching modes on the UPS systems

From normal to bypass mode:

Press the

button on one of the

UPS systems for 3 seconds. All UPS systems switch to the operating
mode.

From bypass to normal mode:

Press the

button on one of the

UPS systems for one second. All UPS systems switch to the operat-
ing mode.

5.2

Converter mode

NOTE



There is no bypass function available in converter mode. The
bypass connection on the line input may not be connected
(see Figure 15)



The load may amount to 80% of the output power of normal
operation

In converter mode, the UPS system always works with a specifically
defined output frequency (50 Hz or 60 Hz) regardless of which input
frequency (40 Hz to 70 Hz) is present. A fixed output frequency is
required, for example, for sensitive consumers.

1. Press the button for at least one second to enable the menu

options. Select "SETTINGS" and then "POWER STRATEGY".

2. Select "CONVERTER" and press the

button for at least

one second to confirm.

3. Then switch to "OUTPUT FREQUENCY".

4. Select "50Hz" or "60Hz" and press the

button for at least

one second to confirm.

5. Press the button briefly to return to the start screen.

If  the  mains  power  supply  is  malfunctioning,  the  UPS  system  auto-
matically  switches  to  battery  mode  (the  frequency  is  maintained).
The load will be supplied as long as there is sufficient battery capaci-
ty.  After  the  mains  power  supply  returns,  the  UPS  system  switches
back to convertor mode.
