Configuring the battery settings

4.8.1

External battery modules

Configure the UPS system for external battery modules to ensure a
maximum battery runtime:

1. Press the button for at least one second to enable the menu

options. Select "SETTINGS" and "EXTERNAL BATTERY
MODULES".

2. Select the number of external battery modules with the or

button:

Number of external battery modules

0 (default setting)

UPS system only (internal batteries)

UPS 1 battery module

UPS 2 battery modules

UPS 3 battery modules

UPS 4 battery modules

3. Press the

button for at least one second to confirm.

4. Press the button briefly to return to the start screen.

4.8.2

Automatic battery tests

By default, automatic battery tests are performed every seven days.
During the battery test, the UPS system switches to battery mode
and briefly discharges the batteries with the available load.

NOTE

The operating mode "Battery mode" and the "Battery level
low" message are not displayed during a battery test.
