Commissioning 

 

NOTE 

Make sure that the total  nominal power of all connected de-
vices does not exceed the capacity of the UPS system. 

 

1.  If  external  battery  modules  are  being  installed,  ensure  that 

these  are  connected  to  the  UPS  system  correctly  (see 

Con-

necting the external battery modules

). 

2.  Connect  the  load  (consumers)  to  the  UPS  system  without 

switching on the load. 

3.  Switch the power supply on. 

The  LCD  display  on  the  front  cover  of  the  UPS  system  lights 
up and displays the ONLINE logo. 

4.  Check  whether  the  UPS  system  is  in  the  bypass  mode  (see 

Operating states

). 

5.  Press  the 

  button  on  the  UPS  system  for  at  least  one  sec-

ond.  An  audio  signal  will  be  emitted.  Several  seconds  later, 
the UPS system will switch to normal mode. 

6.  If the display of the UPS system displays active warning/error 

messages, rectify these before you proceed with commission-
ing the system (see 

Troubleshooting

). 

7.  Switch  the  load  on  and  check  whether  the  connected  load  is 

supplied. 

8.  If external  battery modules are installed, the  number of exter-

nal battery modules must be set in the UPS system (see "

Op-

eration 

– Settings menu"

). 

9.  To change the factory settings, please read the 

Settings

 

menu 

section in the 

Operation

 chapter.
