Mechanical installation

NOTE

On delivery the internal battery packs are not connected.

CAUTION



The housing is heavy (see Technical Data).



We recommend performing the installation without batteries



At least two persons are required for inserting the UPS sys-
tem or the battery module into the rack

Optional slide rails (article number: Rack-Kit-HD) are available for
rack installation. The slide rails are appropriate for 48 cm (19 inch)
racks with an installation depth of 61 to 76 cm (24 to 30 inch).

NOTE



One rack kit is required per UPS system and per battery
module



Mount the battery modules directly under the UPS system

1. Installation of the rack kit (see separate installation instructions).

2. Place the UPS system/battery module on a level, stable sur-

face. The front side of the housing is facing you.
