Emergency-off function (REPO)

The  emergency-off  function  (REPO  =  Remote  Emergency  Power-
Off) serves to shut down the UPS system and to immediately switch
off  the  connected  consumers  remotely.  The  REPO  connector  (rear
side  of  the  UPS  system)  must  be  removed  and  an  external  emer-
gency-off switch must be connected for this.

Connection cable cross-section = 0.32 - 4 mm

CAUTION



The  emergency-off  switch  may  not  be  connected  to  circuits
that  are  connected  with  the  mains  power  supply  network.  A
reinforced insulation to the mains is required. The emergen-
cy-off  switch  must  be  dimensioned  for  at  least  24V  and
20mA. An opening contact must be used. For proper  opera-
tion,  the  emergency-off  function  must  remain  active  for  at
least 250ms



If the emergency-off function is activated, the input voltage of
the UPS system must additionally be disconnected

NOTE



Leave the REPO connector in the emergency-off connector
plugged into the UPS system if the emergency-off function is
not required



Always test the emergency-off function before a critical load
is connected. This will prevent an unintended load breaking
