Configuring the HE mode
In the high-efficiency mode, an efficiency of up to 97% is achieved.
The UPS system normally works in bypass mode. It will switch to
battery mode in less than 10 ms if the mains power fails and will
switch back to bypass mode 1 minute after the mains power has re-
turned.
NOTE
HE mode is available after 1 minute of stable power supply.
1. Press the button for at least one second to enable the menu
options. Select "SETTINGS" and then "POWER STRATEGY".
2. Select "HE MODE" for high efficiency mode or "NORMAL" for
normal mode and press the
button for at least one second
to confirm.
3. Press the button briefly to return to the start screen.
The following settings are additionally available for configuring the
HE mode:
HE voltage low limit:
By default, switching to bypass mode is disa-
bled if the measured bypass voltage lies 5% below the nominal volt-
age. You can specify the setting for a different percentage value.
HE voltage high limit:
By default, switching to bypass mode is dis-
abled if the measured bypass voltage lies 5% above the nominal
voltage. You can specify the setting for a different percentage value.
HE frequency low limit:
By default, switching to bypass mode is
disabled if the measured bypass frequency lies 5% below the nomi-
nal frequency. You can specify the setting for a different percentage
value.
HE frequency high limit:
By default, switching to bypass mode is
disabled if the measured bypass frequency lies 5% above the nomi-
nal frequency. You can specify the setting for a different percentage
value.
