TRANSMISSION

1.

With the document inserted in the ADF, the display shows
AUTOREDIAL and a seconds counter which will progressively
count down until it reaches zero.

2.

When the seconds counter is reset to zero, the machine redials
the destination number (e.g. 123456) to make a further attempt
at connection.

3.

After dialling, the machine will attempt connection. The display
shows the destination number, or, if programmed, the name of
the destination party. The machine then transmits the document.
On completion of the transmission, the message
“TRANSMISSION COMPLETED” is displayed, followed by the
operating mode.

The connection is not made, the fax will make a number of

further attempts as envisaged by legislation in force. If there is
still no connection, an error message will be displayed and, if
this function is enabled, a failed transmission report will be
printed.

again to return to the original operation mode.
