HOW TO PROGRAM THE ONE TOUCH KEYS
One touch keys provide automatic high speed dialling of fax and telephone numbers. To use this function
you must first program the ten one touch keys (01 - 10) with the phone or fax numbers you use most
frequently. The 10 keys can be programmed by entering either a fax or a telephone number for each. Once
these keys have been programmed, an
electronic agenda
is created which contains up to
10
telephone
numbers and
10
fax numbers selected by pressing the corresponding key. When a given key is pressed
the system will dial the corresponding fax number if there is a document in the feeder and the
corresponding telephone number if there is no document (Refer to the charts at the end of this section).
The one touch keys are programmed in the configuration parameters (see section:
CONFIGURATION
PARAMETERS

Along with the fax and phone numbers, you can also store additional information under the one touch keys.
The following table lists all the parameters that may be programmed for a one touch key together with the
memory capacity for each parameter and a programming example..

The following example describes the procedure for programming the one
touch key

The display shows the operating mode with time and date.

to select the “FAX SET-UP” menu.

to select VARIOUS SETTINGS and then press
FUNCTION
until you select the ONE TOUCH DIAL sub-menu.

The display shows the cursor at the point in which the key to be
programmed must be entered.

Press the one touch key
