The display now prompts you to enter the time at which the fax is
to be transmitted.

The machine now prints a special delayed transmission report
containing the programmed parameters.The report is printed
automatically, independently of the installation or configuration
parameters, and helps remind the user that the document in the
fax machine is waiting for delayed transmission and therefore must
not be removed.

At this point the delayed transmission programming procedure is
complete. To see how this transmission takes place, refer to the
following heading.

HOW DELAYED TRANSMISSION TAKES PLACE

Once a delayed transmission operation has been programmed at the time and using the dial mode
required, the fax machine will automatically send the document at the preset time. Remember that the
document must be inserted in the document feeder from the beginning of the programming procedure and
must not be removed before the preset transmission time.

The following example describes the case of delayed transmission of a document programmed for 16:40.

After dialling, the machine will make the connection. The display
shows the destination number, or, if programmed, the name of
the destination party. The machine will then start transmission.
On completion of the transmission, the display will show “TX
COMPLETED” for a few seconds and then the operating mode.
