THE TELEPHONE ANSWERING DEVICE

MEMO

This is a message that you can record simply by pressing the

>I/MEMO

key and using the TAD as an

ordinary recorder. This type of message is a “vocal reminder” that you can record for another user of the fax
or to remind yourself of something.

The TAD and its messages are recorded using the

menu

indicated to the

right.
This menu gives you access to the sub-menus indicated in the list that
follows.

The list below provides a summary of the menu and its sub-menus for setting up the telephone answering
device and their meaning, and the section that follows explains how to make the settings.
