Overview
A first order HPF step response waveform.
Application examples
•Simulates a first order system's step output waveform

Meaning of each parameter
The example shows the case where the amplitude range is
0/+FS.
• Time constant (TC)
Time constant of the exponential function.
Variable range: 0.01% to 100.00% of basic cycle
The head starts at +FS, but the tail does not go to zero.
Please note that the tail offset will get larger as the time
constant increases. The tail will be less than 0.01•FS when
the time constant is less than 21.71%.

Waveform examples
The polarity and amplitude range are all Normal, 0/+FS.

Remarks
The following formula expresses x as the horizontal axis and y as the vertical axis (when the
amplitude range is 0/+FS).





