CHAPTER  18   METER  CONTROLLER/DRIVER

18.3  Meter Controller/Driver Control Registers

The meter controller/driver is controlled by the following three registers.

• Timer mode control register (MCNTC)

• Compare control register n (MCMPCn)

• Port mode control register (PMC)

Remark

n = 1 to 4

(1) Timer mode control register (MCNTC)

MCNTC is an 8-bit register that controls the operation of the free-running up counter (MCNT).

MCNTC is set with an 8-bit memory manipulation instruction.

RESET input clears MCNTC to 00H.

Figure 18-3 shows the MCNTC format.
