11.2.2.2. - As an example the unit will answer “bilge is off, mains is
on, fridge is on”
11.3. - To query the NMEA Equipment (Monitor III only)
11.3.1. – There are two possibilities when sending a NMEA query. If the
unit is wired and configured such that it powers up the NMEA Instruments
(see Section 5.13 ‘NMEA Connections’ ) sending an NMEA query will, power
up the connected NMEA equipment, wait for 4 minutes, sample data for
30 seconds, power down the connected NMEA equipment and report the
information. If the unit is not configured to power up the NMEA
Instrumentation (NMEA Instruments have to be left on) sending an NMEA
query will, sample data for 30 seconds, and report the information.
11.3.2. - To query the NMEA on board equipment send the following
message: -
11.3.2.1. - Secret, nmea
11.2.2.2. - As an example and depending on what is fitted the unit
will answer “depth 5, wind speed 14, wind direction 250”
11.4. - To Query the remaining Credit of the SIM Card
11.4.1. – See Configure unit to set up this function. Once set up, to
determine the credit remaining on the SIM, send this message:
11.4.1.1. - Secret, credit
11.5 - To Arm or Disarm the system
11.5.1. - The system has three armed state, Disarmed, Part Armed (for use
when on board (i.e. at night) where sensor channels set to an SS mode are
not active) or Full Armed (where all sensors are active). To arm or disarm
the system by SMS text message, send the following messages:
11.5.1.1. - Secret, arm
11.5.1.2. - Secret, part
11.5.1.3. - Secret, disarm
