5.11. - Security Loop
5.11.1 - The Security Loop is a waterproof loop for securing portable
assets. By passing the Security Loop through an item it will alarm if the
loop is disconnected or severed. The Security Loop is available in either
Wired or Wireless format.
5.11.2. - The Security Loop uses a multi core harness to detect continuity in
a number of circuits. If an attempt to short the Loop is made to avoid
detection of disconnection or severing the system will also trigger. The
Security Loop is a Normally Closed NC sensor.
5.11.3. - The Security Loop unit should be fitted adjacent to the area most
likely to have portable assets (out board motors, tenders etc) that require
protecting.
5.11.4. - The Security Loop Unit should be securely mounted to a stable,
rigid surface. If in a Wired format the cable should be securely routed to
the control unit.
5.11.5. - When using default configuration connect: -
RED wire to one of the power-out terminals.
BLACK wire to one of the ground-out terminals.
BLUE wire to the chosen Channel terminal (
e.g. terminal U (Channel 12) )
