Optional LCD Customer Display

General Description

The Optional Rear and Pole LCD Customer Display is compatible with the WS4,
WS4 LX, KWS4 and Workstation 5. In addition to supporting many new graphics
features, it emulates the 2x20 IEE VFD Customer Display. The following pages
provide a general description of this display.

Casework

The Rear and Pole LCD Customer display share a common housing. A
disassembled display housing is shown in Figure 2-25. The housing consists of a
front and rear cover. To adapt the housing to a rear or pole model, new hinge and
bracket assembly, shown on the right side of the illustration is installed.

Other components include the LCD Interface Board. Interface Cable, the LCD
Panel, and mounting bracket.
