Remove and Replace the Workstation 4 System Board
PCMCIA or Mini-PCI Wireless Card
The left side of Figure 6-11 below, displays the PCMCIA Adapter Board, XB37 or
XBRB37. It contains a PCMCIA 802.11 Wireless Card with integrated antenna.
The right side shows an example of the Mini-PCI Adapter Card, XBRD68 and the
Mini-PCI 802.11 Wireless Card antenna cable that attaches to the IO panel.

The Mini-PCI wireless card requires that boot loader version 2.0.15 or later be
installed in addition to the GR2.3 platform software. More details on the Mini-PCI
Wireless Card configuration can be found in MD0011-012.
Boot Loader EEPROM
The Boot Loader EEPROM is U24. To remove this device, MICROS
recommends that you use chip removal tool similar to that shown in the
illustration below. It allows you to remove the EEPROM without damaging
the socket.
