Power Button Sticks

Symptoms: The Power button actuator is recessed and the WS4 LX does not change 
states when pressed.

•

Damaged Power Button Actuator.

The plastic actuator is heat staked to the base but can be damaged by excessive 
force. If this occurs, the workstation base must be replaced. 

•

Power Switch Alignment.

There are two possible causes for this.

•

Loose or missing system board mounting screws. In particular, the three front 
mounted stand-off’s. All system board hardware should be installed and 
secured. 

•

The system board power switch is mis-aligned. This occurs in very rare cases. 
Removal and re-mounting of the system board switch may improve the 
situation.
