Optional PCMCIA Daughter Card

Optional PCMCIA Daughter Card

REF: XB37/XBRB37 - Sheet 1

The optional PCMCIA Daughter Card can be used on the AB28 and ABRD36 System
Boards. It connects directly to the PCI bus at system board connector J18 and is used
to support a PCMCIA wireless card.

The RL5C475 II is a cardbus controller that serves as a bridge between the PCI bus
and a PCMCIA card by translating PCI bus cycles into PCMCIA bus cycles.

The Cardbus controller is paired with U2, a MIC2562 Power Switch.
